What a trip to Bhutan costs: the SDF, our USD 300 per night regular price and what it includes, group discounts and extras.
Our regular price
Our regular price is USD 300 per person per night. It includes:
- Hotel accommodation
- All meals
- Transportation within Bhutan
- A licensed Bhutanese tour guide
- The Bhutan visa fee
- The Sustainable Development Fee (SDF)
For example, a 7-day journey with 6 nights costs USD 1,800 per person. Groups of more than 8 travellers receive 10% off.
What is not included
- Entrance fees for monuments and sacred sites
- International and domestic airfare
- International travel insurance
- Personal and entertainment expenses
Government fees
Every visitor pays the Sustainable Development Fee, currently USD 100 per adult per night, and a one-time visa fee of USD 40. Both are already included in our regular price.
Other costs to budget for
Your flights to and from Paro, travel insurance, entrance fees, drinks, shopping and tips. Trekking and special-interest journeys are priced separately; ask us for a quote.
